MONT-SAINT-MICHEL IN LIBERTY
Visit on your own.

At the far western end of Normandy just at the limit of Brittany, the bay of Mont-Saint-Michel is the largest one in Europe. In the Middle Ages, monks decided to build a wonderful abbey on top of the rock. It is still one of the most famous monuments in the World.

Program of the day: Stop at Alençon. Arrival at Mont-Saint-Michel. Free time for the visit of the abbey and to stroll around or do some shopping. You will just have to follow the driver's instructions as to the time of departure. Return to Paris on the Normandy motorway (stop on the way). Note: Be sure to note our driver's instructions regarding departure time. Entrance fees at client's own charge.

You will be entirely free to visit them or stroll in the villages or maybe just enjoy taking pictures. Please ensure that you have fully understood our driver's instructions and report back to the Cityrama bus in time for the return journey to Paris. Normandy is a land rich in history which is also perceived by the French as being endless miles of green countryside with abundant apple trees, cattle, creamy culinary specialities and fine cheese. For the Parisians, Normandy is the closest seashore to the city and attracts many artists and wealthy individuals who enjoy spending their week-ends in the elegant resort of Deauville.

This tour includes: a guided visit to the fishing harbour of Honfleur - Ste Catherine church. Free time for lunch. LUNCH ON YOUR OWN. Afternoon partly dedicated to Deauville: free time to stroll in town or along the beach. Then, visit to a Calvados distillery followed by a tasting.
