The Hotel Raphael was built on the site of a private mansion in 1925. This luxurious establishment was designed by architect Rousselot. Its bathrooms are particularly noteworthy in that, although totally renovated, none of their unique earthenware decor has been sacrified. The anecdotes about this hotel are full of the names of politicians and artists With exotic pink and red marble, magnificent Belle Epoque double bassins, eighteenth century pastels and paintings, and wooden panelling, the Hotel Raphael really is a top class establishment.
