The
Relais-Hotel du Vieux Paris has a history all its own. Built in 1480,
it belonged to the Duc de Luynes and the Duc d'O and was once the
dwelling place of Pierre Seguier, the true Marquis d'O. In the 1950s
and 1960s, American poets adopted the site and in the same movement
created the "Beat Generation". At the Relais-Hotel du Vieux
Paris, guests will find it all right there on the streetcorner: the
Seine, the Place Saint-Michel, Notre-Dame and the Louvre. In this
quarter with village-like charm, you'll fall under the spell of this
vintage building bursting with poetry.
This charming hotel has 13
romantic rooms with half-timbered beams and 7 suites, including 3
with a mezzanine overlooking Paris rooftops. There are marble-finished
bathrooms which include a hairdryer, bath or shower and whirlpool
bath in suites. Rooms also have direct dail telephones, fax outlet,
individual safekeeping, cable television and a minibar.
